Bacterial Treatment for Grease Traps

Whilst there are various grease trap solutions on the market that work effectively in neutral environments, amazingly many of these fail to work in the more acidic conditions brought about by high levels of grease. As a result, we have specifically sourced microbes that remain highly effective as low as pH 4.25 to be included in our BioBoost Grease Trap Fluid.

The Best FOG Digesters

After analysing a plethora of bacteria species over several years, we identified those that are best at producing the chief grease-eating enzyme lipase, and included them in our product. This means that BioBoost Grease Trap Fluid is now able to digest longer, more stubborn fat chains than any product on the market. In turn, this directly helps to avoid blockages in the system, which can be extremely costly.

Eradicate Unpleasant Smells

We also managed to find species of bacteria that worked more effectively against VFAs (volatile fatty acids) - those compounds that produce the most unpleasant smells associated with grease traps - than existing products.

BioBoost Grease Trap Fluid has been proven to assist in lowering Biochemcial Oxygen Demand (BOD), which helps restaurants and factories reach levels of effluent discharge required by environmental legislation.
