Sea-Chem to the Rescue!
Sea-Chem Director Chris Black was recently called back to his native North East to answer a call from a farmer in distress. Anybody who owns a wastewater treatment tank will probably be familiar with the endless headaches that can occur when the system breaks down; however, when such a problem is coupled with a simultaneous breakdown of a grease trap, the situation rapidly becomes an environmental emergency. Indeed, at this particular site, FOGs from the kitchen were being discharged into the local river virtually untreated.

Chris travelled up to the farm armed with an array of Sea-Chem products to help solve the problem. He recommended to the owner that regular application of BioBoost for Grease Traps, a liquidblend of highly specialized FOG-eating bacteria, straight into the grease trap would help begin to tackle the problem at its source. Meanwhile, he also suggested that the simultaneous application of Sea Sure Wastewater Solution - a liquid biostimulant derived from seaweed extracts - and BioBoost for Wastewater - dried bacteria tablets - would help to re-establish and maintain healthy conditions within the main treatment tank, which would provide for the efficient treatment of effluent moving forward. He promised the owners that if they followed these instructions to the letter, our products would completely solve their issue - and that if they didn't, he would reimburse them for the full cost.
Early results from the site suggest that the problem has finally been resolved, which means that the farmer can at last return to the business of running the farm. Meanwhile, Sea-Chem can reflect upon another success story for their synergistic approach to watewater treatment.
